GOING SOLO: Where's YOUR Theater Show? A Mark Lundholm Class!

Bored with the same old ten minutes of stand-up?  Break out with a one-person show!  Use all of your experiences and material to create an amazing, powerfully emotional performance that will draw people in and allow you to stretch as an actor and performer. In this class, you'll learn about how to write, perform, produce and finance your own one-person show!

Week One: The Three C's: Concept, Content, Characters.
Week Two: Production: Do's/Don'ts of MAKING it work.
Week Three: Scripting: It's not the what, it's the WHY!
Week Four: Financing: Finding it, faking it, making it.

Mark Lundholm has had his own Showtime Comedy Special, appeared on Comedy Central, and written and starred in three on-man shows. The most notable of his one-man shows is the fiercely funny and severely dysfunctional stage play about chances and choices called Addicted: a comedy of substance. After playing and extended run off-Broadway and receiving great reviews from The New York Post, the New York Times, and the Associated Press, Addicted was voted into the top position as the most highly recommended off-Broadway show ever in New York City by the Wall Street Journal's Zagat Theater Survey. The show was extended in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver, Miami and San Francisco, grossing $3 million (for someone else) to date.
